Today was great. We went to the gym and met with Scott and Matt. Most of the our time was spent with Scott. He too pushed proteins, which is common for everyone it seems. He did offer us a ton of knowledge, advice, suggestions and more. All in all it was a very information session.
Like usual however, we left with tons of new data to research and learn about. For example, we learned that Soy beans are not the health food we thought, no soy is. It is toxic and can cause serious health issues! We googled it and read dozens of articles. It was shocking. Not sure what the hell we are supposed to do for milk now since our "O" blood type says to avoid milk and to use soy, but now we find that soy can not only harm us but also our future children.
It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end. Tomorrow we will be into the single digits for days left. Soon it will be one week left and then done! Crazy. This creates a bit of anxiety for me. Adding food back in and choices of food etc. is a little intimidating. It is a bit like a recovering drunk going to work in a bar. I hope my relationship with food has changed enough that I can make smart choices and also still enjoy things without over doing it.
